    Fattah Samat
    Recreational Coach

    Fattah formerly trained in artistic gymnastics in Bazgym Gymnastics School. He started coaching part time while continuing his studies in Exercise and Sports Science. He is a sport enthusiast with an extensive sports background including BMX freestyle, rockclimbing, track and field, cross country running and Muay Thai. The belief that gymnastics is the basic ingredient of any sport, be it individual or team, fuels the drive for his passion in developing kids to enjoy and excel in sports. He is a certified Sports Trainer and Sports First Aider accredited by Sports Medicine Australia. So parents, rest assured that your kids are in safe hands of Coach Fatty!

  • Surian Reza
    Recreational Coach

    Rian has been in gymnastics since the age of 7 and became a competitive gymnast 1 year later. He was training with the Prime Senior Boys Team from 1998 to 2001 when Prime was still at its former premises back in Holland Road. He has represented Prime in numerous competitions. Rian then became a Recreational Coach at Prime from 2005 till 2006 before serving his National Service. His love for Prime and gymnastics brought him back to us again.

  • Nur Laila Ayu
    Recreational Coordinator

    Laila has been promoted to be our Recreational Program Coordinator! She is an upbeat and energetic coach, she used to be a children movement program trainer before coming over to Prime. Her enthusiasm in gymnastics and the love to interact with kids has inspired her to take up gymnastics coaching. The kids love her! This feisty coach has taken up riding (on a motorcycle!), and you should see her zipping around on the road near Prime.  

  • Nicole Tolhurst
    Coach

    Nicole has been involved in the Australian gymnastics program since a young age, competing at both state and national levels in artistic gymnastics, sport acrobatics and competitive stunt cheerleading. she has also attended the Annual Prime International numerous times, first as an athlete and later as a coach. Her love of gymnastics inspired her to deepen her involvement with the sport and she has been coaching and judging for more than a decade. While Nicole is a fully qualified primary school teacher, her heart lies in guiding young gymnasts to achieve their sporting goals.  

  • Ben Xian
    Janitor

    Ben Xian joined Prime in mid 2008. He works closely with the manager in maintaining and improving the gym facilities. He came from China and previously, was a cabinet assembler in Singapore, and like the stress-free environment at Prime. He is also happy that he is not alone in Singapore, as many of his childhood friends from his hometown are also here in Singapore.

    She just graduated from RMIT with a Degree in Marketing. She has a lot of experience in customer service and work closely with Christina to attend to customer enquires and needs. She emphasize on service quality because she felt that no one wants to be treated badly. She is an athlete herself and recently got more involve in gymnastics, and she loves it!

  • Christina Tan
    Administrator

    Christina is our dedicated, friendly and over-worked administrator who attends to our stakeholders with a smile. She is the longest serving staff, joining Prime in 1997! Her rich experience in gym administration enables the gym to run smoothly and efficiently.

  • Bonnie Brydon Sy
    Competitive Coach

    Brydon started gymnastics at an early age and has been a member of the Philippine National Gymnastics Team for 12 years. He was a consistent medalist in the SEA Games and competed in various international competitions such as the World Gymnastics Chamionship, Pacific Alliance Championship and the Asian Games. Prior to joining Prime, he was based in Shanghai for 1 year. He likes Singapore, and has attained his permanent Residence Statues.

  • Rachel Kennett
    Women Artistic Gymnastics(WAG) Program Coordinator

    Rachel has been a pillar of Prime since joining in 2003. Her competitive training programs are tough but she still manages to make it fun playing on the diverse personalities of the gymnasts and coaches to create a healthy dynamic. Rachel aims to get the best out of each individual recognizing the strength and potential of each gymnast and thrives on every "new step" they take along the way. Rachel"s dream is to produce gymnasts of the highest level within Prime and after almost 5 years in Singapore is well on the way towards that goal.ss, and his greatest satisfaction is seeing his adult students tumbling like kids.

  • James Zhu Yao
    Men Artistic Gymnastics(MAG) Program Coordinator

    Not many people knew that James coached at Prime from 1993 to 1994. He was one of the pioneering gymnastics coaches of Prime. He is happy to see that Prime has grew so much over the years, and we are proud to have him lead the boy’s team. He brings with him 25 years of coaching experience and hold a Master’s Degree from the Beijing University of Physical Education. He has decided to sink his roots in Singapore and has become a citizen in 2002.

  • Elaine Ye Li Li
    Competitive Coach

    Elaine used to be a competitive gymnast in China, Beijing, and has won numerous medals. In 1990, she obtained the title of "National First Grade Sportsman" and in 2002, she obtained "National First Class Coach". She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Beijing University of Physical Education. Her coaching style embroiled a good mix of tough Chinese traditional training regime, and fun group work sessions with the squad girls.

Willie has brought new energy and fresh perspective to Prime since stepping in as a manager in late 2006. He is also the first Singaporean to manage the club. He has a B.Sc in Information System (Hons) and has been doing gymnastics recreationally for the past 16 years. He has been active in the Singapore gymnastics scene since 2001. He still enjoys executing a flip or two during his adult"s gymnastics class, and his greatest satisfaction is seeing his adult students tumbling like kids.
